‘East-West/West-East’ typography reference book originates from Yi Mao’s MFA Graphic Design thesis project. It is a do-si-do book which contains two parts. Part I: East-Asian Typography Atlas introduces fundamental information about Chinese, Korean, and Japanese typography. It also teaches readers how to use East-Asian typography with Latin typography. Part II is documentation of creating Part I, including the research process, reading lists, etc.
